Neil Savage AboutBorn and raised in Maryland, I grew up in a small town of Montgomery county just outside of the nation’s capital. Throughout my childhood, some would say I was addicted to technology – mainly computers. It wasn’t until the 8th grade, that I discovered HTML and how to build a website. Without taking any classes and purely studying source codes, I began to teach myself the internet language.

My first website was through GeoCities – a free webspace powered by Yahoo. There, I hosted video clips, pictures and games that I found interesting or entertaining. The website won several awards and had over 1000 page-views a day. Needless to say, I moved on and bought my own hosting and domain name. Leaning more towards an informational website, I created a tutorial on how to build your own custom poker table with pictures, material costs and design blueprints. This site is featured on many poker sites, gaining much respect in the poker world.

Continuing with my new found passion, I began freelancing with local companies as well as building my high schools lacrosse website. My senior year in HS, I received an internship with Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) web services, where I helped design school websites. It wasn’t until my sophomore year in college when I decided I wanted to be a graphic designer, although it was always an option in my mind. I currently attend Towson University pursing a BFA in Graphic Design. After college, I plan on continuing to freelance websites, logo designs and print works.
