Towson Vs. UMBC College Beirut (Beer Pong) Table

As a celebration for the end of my college sophomore year, I decided to paint our Beirut (Beer Pong) Table. Below are pictures of the final product and the process of creating the table.

First I needed to sand off the paint that was currently on the table. Once this was done, I primed the plastic with a plastic spray paint primer. Before painting the table, I needed to tape off the sections with the design I created earlier. First two equilateral triangles were made; Each measuring 14" and centered on each side of the table. I then made a 1" border around these triangles and another 1" border around that border. This will create a 19" equilateral triangle on both sides so that 10 and 6 cup Beer Pong can be played. I then taped off the two middle stripes, both measuring with 1" widths. Using acrylic paint, I painted 3 coats of bright yellow and 2 coats black. Once the table was dried, I began to stencil the logos for each school. I then painted, 2 coats of black, 2 coats of white, 3 coats of yellow, 2 coats of brown, and 1 coat of gray. After finishing the logos, I stenciled out the logos to be placed on the sides of the table: Under Armour, Chipotle, Chick-Fil-A and Warrior Lacrosse. Once these logos were painted, I let the table dry for 24 hours. Triple Thick Gloss was then applied evenly over the table, sealing the paint from being exposed to any liquids. 1 heavy coat was applied and then a touch up coat was applied 12 hours afterwards to areas that might have been missed. After 24 hours of drying the table was ready to be handled.
