First I took a picture of myself using a self timer in the position I needed to make the photo. Then using photoshop, I cut myself out of the background by using the eraser tool or a quick mask. Once I had my body cutout, I created the old facebook layout profile picture - the one with the top border which can be made fairly easily by just screen printing on facebook and matching the background to fit cleanly as the profile picture. Once that&#039;s done, I just positioned my cutout properly and added shadows as needed.
